The Genesis Planters
The mission of the Her Genesis Outreach Team is to reach women in overlooked places with love, dignity, and truth. We go beyond walls to remind every woman that her story is not over and her identity is found in God, not her circumstances. Our outreach is rooted in building hope and planting faith that leads to transformation. As 1 Corinthians 3:6 says, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.” We believe that when we show up faithfully, God does the rest.
The Genesis Planters serves a wide span of women and girls without limits or age barriers. From women rebuilding their lives in shelters to young girls just beginning to discover who they are, our heart is to be present in every season. That means stepping into middle schools, high schools, and even elementary spaces with programs tailored to their stage of life. We don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach—what a 10-year-old needs looks different from what a college student or mother may need. Our mission is to meet them uniquely, carrying the same message of identity and hope into every setting.

Five Families of Favor
Five Families of Favor is our annual holiday outreach initiative where Her Genesis adopts five families in need and provides them with a full holiday dinner, winter essentials, and support during the season.
This initiative is rooted in love, generosity, and the belief that every family deserves to experience warmth, hope, and care — especially during the holidays. Through the support of our community, we are able to step in and be a blessing to families who may be facing hardship, reminding them that they are seen, supported, and not alone.

What type of women are we looking for to get involved with the Genesis Planters?
The Genesis Planters is built by women who not only believe in the mission of Her Genesis but also live it out daily. We’re looking for:
Women who identify with our mission and carry a heart for helping others walk in their true identity.
Women with drive and discipline, willing to serve with consistency and excellence.
Women passionate about helping others, seeing service as both an honor and a calling.
Women open to the Word, who may not know the Bible cover to cover, but have hearts ready to learn, grow, and be used by God.
Together, we believe these qualities create a team that reflects both faith and action.
How is the Outreach Team funded or supported?
The Genesis Planters is supported first and foremost by faith—we believe the Lord will provide every resource needed to fulfill the assignment He has given us. Financially, we are sustained through the generosity of those who partner with Her Genesis. Every donation makes a direct impact by allowing us to pour back into women’s lives through resources, support, and outreach programs. In obedience to God’s Word, 10% of every donation is given back in tithes, ensuring that what we receive is also sown back into the Kingdom. With every seed planted, we trust God to multiply it for greater impact.
