About the Role

The Events & Experience Coordinator is the visionary and organizer behind the experiences that bring Her Genesis to life. This leader plans, coordinates, and executes events — both virtual and in-person — that align with the ministry’s mission to help women discover their identity, build confidence, and strengthen their faith.

From Bible studies and retreats to community outreach and mental health initiatives, this role ensures every encounter with Her Genesis is intentional, organized, and transformative.

The Events & Experience Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Partnerships & Fundraising and other team leaders to create experiences that inspire healing, sisterhood, and spiritual growth.

    • Plan and coordinate in-person and virtual events such as workshops, retreats, fundraisers, and mental health outreach.

    • Develop event timelines, checklists, and budgets in partnership with the leadership team.

    • Handle logistics including registration, materials, digital setup, and follow-up communications.

    • Partner with the Creative Media & Design team to design flyers, invitations, and visuals that match the Her Genesis aesthetic.

    • Brainstorm event ideas that connect directly to the ministry’s mission and yearly goals.

    • A heart for God and alignment with the Her Genesis mission and values.

    • A committed follower of Jesus Christ

    • Passionate about women’s ministry, organization, and event coordination

    • Strong communication, time management, and planning skills

    • Creative and detail-oriented with an eye for design and flow

    • Experience with event planning, coordination, or hospitality preferred

    • Comfortable working collaboratively in a faith-based team

    • Must be reliable, teachable, and spiritually mature

    • Must be an active member of the Her Genesis Sisterhood online community.

    • Required to attend weekly Bible studies and participate in prayer gatherings as part of spiritual accountability. (Understandable if you can’t make it due to other responsibilities)

      • Maintain a lifestyle that reflects spiritual integrity, humility, and Christlike character
